Victoria’s out of date and underfunded Fire Rescue Fleet was stretched beyond capacity overnight, with only 2 of 5 Teleboom’s in Commission.
Incidents in South Yarra, Caroline Springs and Northcote requested Teleboom’s however none were available.
Teleboom’s are critical in providing firefighting capacity at heights, assisting in providing an effective and efficient attack on a structure fire.
Sunshine’s dedicated 24 year old Teleboom was once again Out of Commission.
All of Victoria’s Teleboom’s have been in service for over 19 years.
