2nd alarm structure fire in Altona North.
A Teleboom has had to respond in peak hour traffic from Richmond due to Sunshine’s 25 year old Truck being Out of Commission – again!
Firefighters at Fire Station 44 in Sunshine are once again left stranded.
Their 25-year-old Teleboom fire truck has suffered yet another mechanical failure – this time the transmission – just three weeks after its last breakdown. It’s now off the road.
In its place? An equally outdated spare truck that can’t perform rescues at heights and has a faulty pump controller. There are no more spares left in the fleet.
Meanwhile, FRV Executives sent an intimidating email today, warning firefighters not to speak up about this crisis, not to talk to media, and not to let them into fire stations.
This is how far they’ll go to cover up the truth.
But firefighters won’t be silenced. The truth will be told in the upcoming “Breaking Point” documentary – exposing just how serious this crisis is, and the tragic consequences if it’s not fixed.
Lives are on the line. The truth is coming.
