FIRE TRUCK SHORTAGE EMERGENCY

In the last 24 hours alone, multiple Fire Rescue Victoria stations have had fire truck failures — and no replacements available. Victoria has officially run out of spare fire trucks.

Fire Stations across Rowville, Melton, Glen Waverley and now Dandenong have been left without appliances this week.

No fire truck means slower response times, fewer firefighters on scene, and Victorians exposed to massive risk.

Meanwhile:

Victorians are paying double their emergency services levy.

FRV faces a $114 million funding slash this year — enough to replace 100+ trucks.

Minister Vicki Ward and Premier Jacinta Allan continue to pretend there is “no issue”.

This is unacceptable.

You cannot cut funding, refuse to properly fund replacing trucks, and then claim the system is safe. It isn’t.
