Fire Trucks or Fire Museum Exhibits?

Fire Station 01 Eastern Hill is running fire trucks that are 12 and 15-year-out-of-date, vehicles that can’t be relied on in an emergency. Next door, the Fire Services Museum has trucks in better condition.

Meanwhile, FRV has spent nearly $32 million on consultants and over $10 million on legal fees, money that could have bought at least 40 new fire trucks and helped fix this Fire Crisis.

Firefighters and the community deserve modern, reliable fire trucks—not budget mismanagement that puts lives at risk.

FRV Commissioner Freeman needs to stop wasting Fire Services Levy money and start spending it on new and reliable fire trucks.
