Firefighters were left without a functioning Station Turn Out (STO) system — the technology that provides crews with critical information and dispatch details — after Triple Zero Victoria suffered a power failure.
With systems down, emergency services were forced to revert to pen and paper to track incidents and the location of fire trucks and ambulances.
This is yet another failure under the Allan Government, which continues to slash funding to vital services like Triple Zero Victoria and Fire Rescue Victoria, all while charging Victorians twice as much through the Emergency Services Tax.
