Due to no spare FRV pumpers in the state Warrnambool’s spare pumper 70C (a pumper station at Warrnambool to be used when all trucks are committed at a job) was taken to fill in at Corio as 62B when their truck broke down. When Geelong pumper 63B broke down Corio 62B was taken to Geelong to fill in as 63B. Today all Warrnambool trucks were committed at a protracted Technical Rescue which meant 63B, aka 62B, aka 70C had to return to Warrnambool to act as 70C. While FRV is shuffling deck chairs on the titanic the community suffers.
