Today, the UFU Victorian Branch pauses to honour the Firefighters and IAFF members who lost their lives on September 11, 2001 — and those who have since passed from illnesses and injuries linked to their service on that tragic day.
The impact of 9/11 continues to be felt across the global firefighting family, and the sacrifice of our fallen colleagues will never be forgotten.
We respectfully ask all on-shift members to observe a moment of silence in their memory and in solidarity with their families, friends, and fellow firefighters.
