Sunshine fire station was down a truck for 24 hours because of a breakdown in Footscray. This isn’t the first time and our suburbs are facing a FIRE CRISIS! These are the areas most prone to massive industrial fires, and Sunshine’s trucks are often the first on the scene. Reduced capacity puts everyone at risk – firefighters and the community! FRV had to scramble to find another truck just to fill the gap because there is nothing left. We pay a fire levy, shouldn’t we expect reliable fire trucks?
