At only a half-day Fair Work Commission meeting this week, FRV and the Allan Government sent:
• 2 King’s Counsel
• 2 Barristers
• SIX Solicitors (including partners from top-billing firms)
• Acting Deputy Secretary Tony Matthews (Rumoured to be earning close to $500k per year)
• FRV Executive Director of People & Culture Tom McPherson (also a 90.85% No Confidence vote recipient like Tony Matthews)

All paid for by Victorian taxpayers.

All while the Emergency Services Levy you pay on your rates has skyrocketed.
The UFU? Sent just one barrister, one solicitor, our Union Secretary and Industrial Coordinator.
While firefighters struggle with dangerous, outdated fire trucks and 3.5 year long delayed negotiations, FRV and the Government are happy to sign blank cheques for law firms and use your Emergency Services levy money on a legal army to try and give Victoria’s own firefighters even less.
Victorians deserve better. Firefighters deserve better
