Broken Fire Trucks – again and again

Which Truck Is Broken Today? 🚒

Fire Station 55 in Caroline Springs has been left without a reliable fire truck after the last remaining spare fire truck in the state broke down.

This isn’t bad luck — it’s a system in crisis.

Across Victoria, Fire Rescue Victoria is constantly being forced to reshuffle the deck of trucks — moving trucks from station to station just to cover gaps caused by ongoing failures.

This truck should have been taken out of service 2 years ago and replaced. Instead, it’s been kept on the road despite known risks it would fail.

Firefighters are being left to rely on outdated, unreliable equipment — putting their safety and the community at risk every single day.

The Jacinta Allan Government continues to underfund fire services while frontline crews deal with the consequences.

Victorians deserve better.
