Commissioner Freeman hired a PR firm to “improve his image” after a strong vote of no confidence by firefighters recently. One of the moves was to show up to the vehicle workshops in hi vis, taking photos in front of trucks.
The problem, the vehicle he’s posed in front of was removed from service in early January for multiple faults and still remains off-line, leaving Altona with an outdated spare truck.
