Firefighters have called for safer work practices at a rally outside a Bendigo MP’s office on 30 September.
Members from Bendigo and Ballarat Fire Rescue Victoria crews joined the United Firefighters Union at Bendigo East MP Jacinta Allan’s office after the MP declined a meeting request.
Pumper 88 (Hallam) is off-line this morning due to air leak. It also has a coolant leak, foam transfer pump failure, and brake system warnings.
The vacant bay next to it is for Hazmat 88 which has also been off line all week with a hydraulic failure.
This means Hazmat 38, South Melbourne, is covering all of Melbourne as well as covering the entire South East .
Pumper 88 supports into Cranbourne, Pakenham and Dandenong while also covering Hallam.
